This month has been pretty chilled one, but, as always I've managed to snag a few new songs to add to my June playlist. Read on, my friends, as there are some great tunes ahead...
So, Spotify is my go-to for anything music - except Taylor Swift *cries*. It is such an easy and accessible platform and everything is right there for you - except Taylor Swift *cries more*.
[My happiness will never be pure until I can blast T.Swizzle through my Spotify playlist]
My account is made through Facebook, so I'm able to see all of the songs my friends are listening to and new music is constantly being added, so I can keep up to date with my favourite artists.
And I'm always creating new playlists - usually based on genre - so that I can have all of my music in front of me. This also means that I can listen through the Spotify app on my phone too. However, I have been recently sorting my playlists by the month that I've listened to them and so I figured it was the perfect time to make a post about it.
Here is my June 2015 playlist:
1. Thrash Unreal - Against Me
2. I Was a Teenage Anarchist - Against Me
3. Neighbour Neighbour - Violent Soho
4. Funny Guy - Dune Rats
5. Red Light Green Light - Dune Rats
6. Be Your Shadow - The Wombats
7. Muckraker - King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard
8. Each Coming Night - Iron & Wine
In June, almost all of the artists I've been listening to were recommended to me via a friend and, in doing so, I feel like I have definitely widened my listening range - never a bad thing, ever. I've also found that most of these songs really can be the perfect background music for chill-out days - also never a bad thing.
What are some songs that you loved through June? Or some songs that you're loving right now?
Thanks for reading!
